According to a news report a  man driving a Nissan Maxima attempted to turn left when he collided with the driver of a Toyota Avalon travelling east at around 6:55 p.m. at  State Route 9 in Hurricane  last Saturday. This accident occurred in the intersection of 5300 West according to a release from Hurricane Police Department.Nissan Maxima

Both drivers sustained only minor injuries as a result of the collision and were transported to the area hospital by an ambulance. Unfortunately the woman passenger of Toyota Avalon sustained severe injuries that required her to be airlifted to a hospital in Las Vegas.

The driver of the Nissan claimed that the sun was in his eyes according to the press release. The release also added that this accident is being investigated as of the moment.
