Rollover accidentCEDER CITY- A rollover accident on northbound I-15  Sunday night resulted in the death of a 50 year old woman and injuries to two people.

The fatality was identified as Sara Oliver, with Mark Oliver 53 and 12 year old Emma Oliver receiving serious injuries.

According to the news article, the accident happened around 9:19 p.m. Sunday.  The accident involved a pickup truck which was pulling two trailers and traveling northbound on I-15. The report cited the truck was specifically pulling an old truck bed as well as two 4-wheelers.

The driver at that time, Mark Oliver, was in the car with both Sarah and Emma Oliver.  According to Utah Highway Patrol, Mark Oliver felt the trailers began to move back and forth on the highway. In response, he applied the brakes after which he lost control of the truck. The truck then drove off the right side of the freeway and rolled over near mile post 49.  All three people were pinned in the truck and had to be freed by rescuers.

Utah Highway Patrol disclosed Sara Oliver died on the scene while Mark Oliver was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital in Las Vegas in critical condition. Emma Oliver was taken to a nearby hospital by ground crews.

The accident closed parts of the freeway for two hours while crews cleaned up scattered debris .
